A 21-year-old College of Kentucky athlete was arrested and accused of hiding her useless toddler, wrapped in a towel, in a trash bag in a closet to hide the latest delivery, police stated.
Laken Ashlee Snelling, who a univeristy spokesperson stated was a senior and a member of the aggressive cheer stunt workforce, is predicted to be charged with concealing the delivery of an toddler, tampering with bodily proof and abuse of a corpse, in keeping with a police quotation.
She was arrested Sunday and booked into the Fayette County Detention Heart, Lexington, Kentucky, police stated in an announcement.
It is not clear if Snelling has a lawyer. The state Division of Public Advocacy, which supplies some defendants with authorized illustration, didn’t instantly reply to a request for data Monday night time.
