The Division of Municipality and Planning – Ajman has reported that the emirate’s Air High quality Index (AQI) reached 96.19 per cent through the first half of 2025

Dr Eng Al Hosani famous the progress stems from steady efforts and built-in planning, together with the launch of a number of environmental tasks and initiatives. The Environmental Compliance Programme represents essentially the most notable initiative.

The programme goals to reinforce management over industrial amenities by requiring the submission of semi-annual stories assessing air air pollution ranges, thereby enhancing environmental compliance and enabling corrective actions the place vital.

The Division has established a community of seven accredited air high quality measurement stations in accordance with worldwide requirements and inside the classification of the Ministry of Local weather Change and Setting.
