ST. LOUIS – A set of automobiles have been broken in a single day Friday after a hearth in a used automotive lot in south St. Louis.
The fireplace broke out round 12:40 a.m. within the parking zone of South Aspect Auto Credit score and Gross sales, positioned on the 3600 block of Morgan Ford Street within the metropolis’s Tower Grove South neighborhood.

Based on officers, the fireplace appeared to have began within the engine compartment of one of many automobiles within the lot then unfold to others. At the very least 9 automobiles have been impacted within the fireplace, together with some sustaining important harm.

An investigation into the fireplace is ongoing and town’s Bomb and Arson unit was requested to the scene.
