The RTA has introduced a sequence of visitors diversions on main roads in Dubai.
Two-month diversions have been introduced at Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Street, Emirates Street and the Dubai–Al Ain Street, with the Roads and Transport Authority advising different routes.
All three diversions are to permit for rainwater and groundwater drainage works on roads within the Emirate and can final for an anticipated two months. The RTA suggested motorists plan journeys prematurely to make sure clean journey throughout this era.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Street diversion
The RTA revealed a two-month diversion on the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Street and recommended different routes.

In a separate assertion on social media, the RTA stated: “A visitors diversion shall be carried out at Mudon Underpass on Emirates Street for 2 months beginning June 28, 2025.
“The works embrace rainwater and groundwater drainage system upgrades together with street resurfacing.
“Commuters can use the choice routes through Underpass 7 (U-turn in direction of Jebel Ali) or from Hessa Road to Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Road (in direction of Dubai)”.
Dubai–Al Ain Street diversion
The RTA revealed a two-month additional diversion and recommended different routes.
On X, the RTA stated: “A brief visitors diversion shall be carried out at Umm Al Daman Underpass on Dubai–Al Ain Street beginning June 28, 2025, lasting two months.
“The works intention to enhance rainwater and groundwater drainage, together with street resurfacing. Commuters are suggested to take the choice route through Umm Nahad Bridge (Intersection 4), the place a U-turn in direction of Dubai shall be out there to assist guarantee a smoother journey”.
