Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has begun development of an 850m lane linking Ras Al Khor Highway to Nad Al Hamar Intersection, alongside widening the storage lane on the intersection for automobiles turning left from Al Rebat Avenue.
A part of the 2025 Speedy Visitors Enhancements – Summer season 2025 Plan, the undertaking goals to ease congestion on two key corridors and is scheduled for completion by the tip of August.
With the brand new lane in place, capability will improve by 33 per cent — from 4,800 to six,400 automobiles per hour — reducing journey time from quarter-hour to 11 minutes and enhancing night peak site visitors movement by as much as 27 per cent.
