Mike Campbell — former Seattle Mariners pitcher and 1st-round draft decide — has died.
The workforce introduced the unhappy information on social media, saying … “We’re saddened by the passing of Seattle native and former Mariners pitcher Mike Campbell. Our hearts exit to his household and family members.” He reportedly died Monday at his house in Kirkland, Washington. His reason behind loss of life remains to be pending.
Campbell made his major-league debut in 1987 after the Mariners introduced him on as their No. 1 draft decide. He pitched for them for elements of the subsequent 3 seasons, however was then traded to the Montreal Expos as a part of the deal to deliver on Corridor of Famer Randy Johnson to the workforce.
He pitched in 51 main league video games throughout his MLB profession. Along with Seattle and Montreal, he performed for Texas, San Diego and Chicago. He retired in 1999 following a stint within the unbiased Atlantic League.
