Harry Styles achieves another chart triumph as his latest release, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, launches straight to No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. This marks his fourth consecutive solo album to top the tally.
Solo Success and One Direction Legacy
Styles’ debut solo effort held the summit for one week in 2017, while Fine Line ruled for three weeks in 2019-20. Harry’s House enjoyed a dominant 10-week stay at No. 1 in 2022-23. During his time with One Direction, the group secured four No. 1 albums: Up All Night (2011), Take Me Home (2012), Midnight Memories (2013), and Four (2014).
The new album leads vinyl sales in the current tracking period. All 12 tracks enter the top 50, with “American Girls” climbing to No. 3. This boosts Styles’ total top 50 appearances to 33. The British artist has topped the ARIA Singles Chart twice before, with “Sign Of The Times” in 2017 and “As It Was” in 2022.
Albums Chart Shifts
The previous leader, Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving, slips to No. 2 after 10 non-consecutive weeks at the top. Linkin Park’s From Zero surges from No. 44 to No. 4, fueled by the band’s first Australian tour in 13 years. The album previously held No. 1 for one week in November 2024.
Fugazi enters the chart for the first time with Albini Sessions (Benefits For Letters Charity) at No. 20. This collection includes unreleased 1992 recordings produced by the late Steve Albini. Australian acts also break into the top 40: Bully Haymakes with Anywhere But Here at No. 31 and Sam Buckingham’s Beautiful Machine at No. 35.
Singles Chart Dominance
Olivia Dean maintains her grip on the ARIA Singles Chart as “Man I Need” enters its 17th consecutive week at No. 1. The track now matches The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber’s “Stay” and Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” for the second-longest reign since the charts began in 1983. Tones and I’s “Dance Monkey” holds the record with 24 non-consecutive weeks in 2019-20.
Tame Impala’s “Dracula” rises to a new peak of No. 15 in its 20th week. The song gained momentum from a remix featuring JENNIE’s vocals and her participation in a related TikTok trend. It stands as the sole Australian track in the current top 50.
