UCLA police arrested a suspect on housebreaking and weapons fees, the division introduced Sunday morning.
The suspect was detained in Haines Corridor on UCLA’s campus after police discovered stolen posters honoring African American figures, a stun gun, campus keys and different objects, in response to the division.
The suspect faces housebreaking and weapons fees with a possible hate crime enhancement.
It was not instantly clear whether or not the suspect was affiliated with the college, in response to the police division.
Police additionally stated the arrest was linked to “comparable incidents beneath investigation since Feb 2025.”
Haines Corridor is a lecture corridor at UCLA. The constructing, which is situated on the quad, is house to the Ralph J. Bunche Heart for African American Research Library and Media Heart. UCLA’s sociology division can be within the constructing.
