A person pleaded responsible to assault after a tantrum at a Southern California hair salon that concerned knocking over cabinets, throwing shampoo bottles and yelling at staff, all of which was captured on video.
He’s set to serve six years in jail.
On Jan. 29, August Marriott, 28, entered a Nice Clips on Mission Gorge Highway in Santee round 7 p.m., in line with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Division. Marriott grew to become agitated after he was advised he was late for his appointment. He then vandalized the shop, in line with the Sheriff’s Division, which cited the cellphone video footage.
The video posted on social media exhibits Marriott overturning cabinets that include hair care merchandise, which he then heaves towards the again of the salon whereas yelling profanity at employees members.

An worker had minor accidents because of the assault, and Marriott fled the scene earlier than deputies arrived, authorities stated. He was arrested in Chula Vista on Feb. 4 by deputies from the Santee Sheriff’s Station and booked into the San Diego Central Jail on suspicion of assault with a lethal weapon, vandalism and violation of parole.
On Oct. 10, Marriott pleaded responsible to assault and admitted to having a previous strike conviction as a part of his plea, in line with the San Diego County district legal professional’s workplace. He’s scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 18.
