Yemen’s Houthi insurgent motion has confirmed that its self-proclaimed Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Nasser al-Rahawi was killed in Israeli air strikes earlier this week.
The Iran-backed group mentioned a number of different senior officers had been killed when the Israel Protection Forces (IDF) focused Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, on Thursday.
The IDF mentioned on the time that it attacked a Houthi “army goal” within the Sanaa space, giving no additional particulars.
The Houthis have managed a lot of north-western Yemen since 2014, after ousting the internationally recognised authorities from Sanaa and triggering a devastating civil struggle.
