Jaclyn Smith, the iconic star from Charlie’s Angels, turns heads at 80 with her radiant complexion and slender figure during a recent outing in Beverly Hills.
Effortless Glamour on Display
Smith exudes timeless showbiz allure in a flowing striped white blouse that drapes her slim frame. She pairs it with fitted oyster-colored jeans that highlight her long legs. Gentle waves of blonde hair frame her striking features, enhanced by subtle, elegant makeup. She completes the look with oversized shades, a minimalist off-white handbag, and comfortable sneakers perfect for navigating the upscale neighborhood.
The Houston native multitasks with a lively phone conversation while handling her errands in the exclusive 90210 area.
Notable Career Milestones
After her breakout role in Charlie’s Angels, Smith shines in television movies and miniseries. She earns a Golden Globe nomination for portraying Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy in the 1981 ABC film opposite Rod Taylor as her father.
She reprises Kelly Garrett in a 2003 cameo for Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, featuring Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, and Cameron Diaz. Smith returns for the 2019 film starring Kristen Stewart and directed by Elizabeth Banks.
Beyond acting, she launches successful product lines, including women’s apparel for Kmart, a home collection, and a wig series.
Enduring Marriage and Wellness Routine
Smith’s first three marriages each last under a decade, but her fourth union with surgeon Brad Allen endures since 1997. Her husband recently develops a skincare line tailored for her, fueling interest in her age-defying beauty.
Smith credits a balanced lifestyle. “I don’t drink. I’ve never touched a drug. I exercise daily. I’m married to a heart surgeon who preaches the importance of eating your fruits and vegetables. I enjoy my green drinks. What we put on our bodies shows up on our faces,” she explains.
Her refrigerator stocks plenty of fruits and vegetables, supplemented by green drinks. Yet she embraces indulgences: “I eat meat. I’m gonna have my hamburgers and I’m gonna have my pizza. I love cheese. I’ve gotta have my gummy bears. We gotta enjoy life.”
Moderation proves key, she notes: “I think having everything in moderation is so important. If you’re so strict, it’s going to show up on your personality and your face. You will get a little angry for depriving yourself of so much. If you try too hard to be too strict, you will then splurge and it defeats the whole purpose. Everything in moderation is much more rewarding.”
Her fitness routine features Pilates and weights under a motivating trainer. “For me, movement is so important,” she shares. As a breast cancer survivor who underwent a lumpectomy and radiation 20 years ago, she addresses bone health risks from medication. Her husband reinforces the benefits: exercise supports both bones and brain.
