Returning Coaches as Mega Mentors
Three prominent coaches make a comeback to guide contestants toward victory. CeeLo Green, an original coach, steps in as Mega Mentor for Adam Levine’s and John Legend’s teams. Michael Bublé, who served as a judge in the prior three seasons, takes on the Mega Mentor role for Kelly Clarkson’s team. Jennifer Hudson returns as an Alumni Coach, assisting Team Kelly during coaching rehearsals.
New Advisors Join Battle Rounds
Additional experts enhance the competition. Benji Madden, coach from The Voice Australia and guitarist for Good Charlotte, advises Levine’s team during the battle rounds. Grammy-winning R&B artist Muni Long supports Team Legend in the same phase.
All-Star Showdown Brings Back Past Champions
The season features a new in-season all-star event where each of the three coaches revives two former artists for head-to-head sing-off battles. CeeLo Green judges the All-Star Showdown to select winners.
Team Adam fields season 1 winner Javier Colon and season 9 winner Jordan Smith. Team Kelly brings season 21 winner Girl Named Tom and season 17 winner Jake Hoot. Team Legend features season 16 winner Maelyn Jarmon and season 27 fan favorite RENZO.
The coach securing the most victories in these sing-offs earns a guaranteed second finalist spot in the finale, potentially influencing the overall season outcome.
