A lady was rescued by firefighters after she was swept miles down San Jose Creek, the Los Angeles County Fireplace Division mentioned Wednesday.
The girl, whose identify was not launched, was first noticed within the creek close to Fullerton Street by the 60 Freeway round 1:50 p.m. When firefighters arrived on the scene 17 minutes later, the girl was gone, the Fireplace Division mentioned.
“She went downstream for some time,” mentioned Pauline McGee, a spokesperson for the L.A. County Fireplace Division.
The Fireplace Division continued on the lookout for the girl downstream, sending fireplace vans and utilizing a helicopter to attempt to find her, in response to footage shot by newsgathering outlet OnScene.TV.
Ultimately, the girl was rescued at Workman Mill Street in San Jose Creek, McGee mentioned.
