Police arrested a person after he reportedly interrupted a service in Charlottesville and started assaulting churchgoers.
The incident happened on July 27 at Saint Paul’s Memorial Church, positioned at 1701 College Avenue.
At about 9:45 a.m., police responded to a report of an assault in progress throughout a service on the church after a person reportedly stood up and started assaulting a number of members of the congregation, a press launch mentioned.
