A person in his 40s was arrested within the U.Ok. in reference to a cyberattack that disrupted a number of European airports over the weekend, Britain’s Nationwide Crime Company (NCA) stated.

The person was arrested late Tuesday on suspicion of offences involving the misuse of computer systems “as a part of an investigation right into a cyber incident impacting Collins Aerospace,” which supplies check-in desk know-how for airways, the NCA stated.

The cyberattack affected the software program of Collins Aerospace at a number of European airports over the weekend. Passengers had been unable to print boarding passes and bag tags and dispatch their baggage.
