Three individuals have been shot and killed in Lakewood on Thursday.
Authorities obtained a name reporting an assault with a lethal weapon within the 5800 block of Lorelei Avenue at 7:53 a.m., in line with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Division.
The victims — a person, a girl and a 17-year-old woman — suffered gunshot wounds to their higher torsos, stated Deputy David Yoo. They have been pronounced useless on the scene, officers stated.
A lady was taken to a sheriff’s station for questioning, Yoo stated. No arrest had been made as of Thursday afternoon.
Investigators believed the victims have been relations, stated Lt. Daniel Vizcarra. Their names weren’t launched pending notification of their surviving relations, he stated.
Further details about the circumstances surrounding their deaths was not instantly obtainable.
