“Spider-Man: Model New Day” has formally wrapped filming and its director, Destin Daniel Cretton, commemorated the event with a noteworthy tribute to the movie’s star, Tom Holland.
On Friday, Cretton took to Instagram and shared a number of behind-the-scenes photographs of the solid and crew celebrating the fourth MCU “Spider-Man” movie wrapping up manufacturing.
In a single picture, Cretton had his arms round Holland, who beamed whereas being lined in leis, a conventional Polynesian garland typically given in celebration.
Cretton wrote within the caption: “I’m so deeply grateful for the individuals who walked with me via the largest, most rewarding movie I’ve ever been part of.”

Cretton’s tribute comes three months after an on-set harm briefly paused the film’s manufacturing schedule. As TheWrap beforehand reported in September, Holland suffered a concussion on the set of “Spider-Man: Model New Day,” main Sony Photos and Marvel Studios to place a pause on manufacturing with a restart date of Sept. 29.
A person with information of the incident instructed TheWrap on the time that the lead star’s concussion was gentle and that he can be resting “out of an abundance of warning.” Others sources clarified that nobody else was injured on set.
The incident didn’t affect the film’s slated launch date, which is July 31, 2026.
The movie, which follows the occasions of “Spider-Man: No Manner Dwelling,” stars Holland because the titular hero, Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned and Sadie Sink in an undisclosed function.
