A pupil halls growth has been accepted on a college campus regardless of fears the 5 buildings will “dominate” close by homes.

Loughborough College was given permission by Charnwood Borough Council at a gathering this week for 5 four- to six-storey halls to switch a parking lot off Ashby Street.

The 552-flat scheme has proved divisive, with 45 complaints lodged, and objectors current on the planning committee frightened concerning the affect on the Holywell Drive and Spinney Hill Drive space.
