The Academy of Movement Image Arts and Sciences introduced its pupil winners from faculties and universities all over the world on the 52nd Scholar Academy Awards ceremony on Monday, October 6, 2025. Gold, Silver and Bronze placements have been introduced and trophies offered throughout a ceremony held on the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York Metropolis.
The Scholar Academy Awards have been established in 1972 to offer a platform for rising international expertise by creating alternatives throughout the trade to showcase their work. All Scholar Academy Award-winning movies are eligible to compete for the 98th Oscars within the Animated Quick Movie, Reside Motion Quick Movie, or Documentary Quick Movie classes. The 2025 winners be part of the ranks of such previous Scholar Academy Award winners as Spike Lee, Robert Zemeckis, Patricia Riggen, Pete Docter, and Patricia Cardoso. Final yr, 5 2024 Scholar Academy Award-winning movies made the Oscar shortlists. Previous winners have gone on to obtain 69 Oscar nominations in complete, and have received or shared 15 awards.
