Based on Discovery Schooling’s new “Schooling Insights 2025-26: Fueling Studying Via Engagement” report, 93% of academics agree that pupil engagement is important for understanding general achievement, along with 99% of superintendents. Nonetheless, measurement methods range between the 2 teams.

Seventy-two % of academics agree that asking considerate questions is the strongest indicator of pupil engagement. In the meantime, 54% of superintendents say scoring properly on assessments is the highest engagement indicator.
