“The Workplace” spinoff sequence “The Paper” has set a September premiere date at Peacock.
The brand new mockumentary sequence from Greg Daniels and Michael Koman will debut Sept. 4 on Peacock, the streamer introduced Thursday. The primary 4 episodes of “The Paper” will premiere on Sept. 4, with two new episodes dropping each Thursday via Sept. 25.
“The Paper” follows the documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton department in “The Workplace” as they discover a new topic once they uncover a historic Midwestern newspaper and the writer attempting to revive it, based on the official logline.
“The Workplace” fan-favorite Oscar Nuñez returns in “The Paper,” becoming a member of sequence regulars Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Younger and Tim Key.
