Timm Hanly, the 31-year-old former star of The Bachelorette, has revealed a strikingly different appearance that has left followers amazed. He shared his updated look on Instagram this week, highlighting a straighter and more defined nose following surgery to correct a collapsed septum.
In the video, Hanly appears shirtless, showcasing his muscular build and prominent tattoos across his chest, arms, and neck. His facial features now seem sharper, with a narrower and more balanced nose compared to his earlier images. This change contrasts sharply with his past on-screen persona, characterized by long blond curls, a crooked smile, and a slightly irregular nose that added to his playful vibe.
Addressing the Speculation
During a candid Instagram Q&A session, the Melbourne entrepreneur directly tackled questions from fans about the surgery’s cause. “Alright, let’s just clear things up before we get right into this question box,” he said. “90% of the questions are like, is this from too much cocaine? Is this from too much partying?”
Hanly addressed the rumors with humor, stating, “We can’t rule out that it wasn’t from cocaine or partying ’cause I’ve done lots of that in my life.” However, he clarified that his past habits were not the primary reason. “But I stopped doing that about five years ago when I started Front Runner, and I still had two good nostrils when I ended my partying career,” he explained.
Instead, he attributed the issue to his boxing experiences. “I did have a boxing camp after that, which I got absolutely fing pumped in… my nose got broken a couple of times, so I’m gonna say boxing – but we can’t completely rule out the cocaine fing conspiracy,” he added jokingly. Hanly emphasized his commitment to change: “But yeah, those days are over… I’m done with all that. Everything I do now has a purpose.”
Lifestyle Overhaul
Hanly has openly discussed his shift toward a healthier routine in recent years, moving away from late nights and excessive socializing to prioritize fitness, business, and family. In 2020, he described entering a “different stage” of life, crediting his streetwear brand Front Runner for providing focus. “I’m in a really good place at the moment,” he shared. “It’s like part of growing up. It’s sort of exciting. It’s like I’ve stepped into a new world.”
That same year, he announced going sober, noting that his previous binge drinking had become unmanageable.
Recent Personal Milestones
Hanly’s transformation coincides with other significant life events. In November, he married his longtime partner, Briana De La Motte, in a scenic lakeside ceremony. The couple, who co-founded the successful fashion brand Front Runner, exchanged vows after a two-year engagement and periods of on-and-off romance.
Photos from the event captured joyful moments, including Hanly tearing up as their two-year-old daughter Harper walked down the aisle, and the pair smiling amid falling white petals.
