MIAMI (AP) — Tropical Storm Priscilla shaped within the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Mexico on Saturday.
The Miami-based Nationwide Hurricane Middle stated Priscilla was a “massive tropical storm,” with tropical storm-force winds extending so far as 140 miles (220 kilometers) from its middle.
Its most sustained winds have been 45 mph (75 kph), the middle stated, and it was positioned about 285 miles (460 kilometers) south-southwest of Manzanillo and headed towards the northwest at 7 mph (11 kph).

A tropical storm watch was issued for a part of the coast of southwestern Mexico, from Punta San Telmo to Punta Mita, with tropical storm circumstances attainable within the space Sunday and Monday.
Priscilla was forecast to succeed in hurricane standing Sunday and customarily transfer parallel to the coast within the coming days.
One other tropical storm off Mexico within the Pacific, Octave, was meandering removed from shore with no landfall within the forecast and no coastal watches or warnings in impact because of the system.
