Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., outlines what’s forward for delivering President Donald Trump’s ‘massive, lovely invoice’ and dispels myths about Medicaid cuts on ‘The Backside Line.’

President Donald Trump praised wayward wingman Elon Musk on Sunday, regardless of the Tesla founder’s renewed criticism of the president’s “massive, lovely invoice.”

Trump known as Musk a “fantastic man” in an interview with Fox Information’ Maria Bartiromo, although he did say Musk’s habits after their break up, which included a since-deleted tweet connecting Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, was “not acceptable.”

“Have you ever spoken to Elon Musk? What occurred there?” Bartiromo requested.

“I believe he is a beautiful man. I have not spoken to him a lot, however I believe Elon is a superb man, and I do know he’ll do nicely all the time,” Trump responded. “He is a wise man. And he really went and campaigned with me and this and that. However he received somewhat bit upset, and that wasn’t acceptable.”

“Why did he get upset? He simply wasn’t getting what he wished?” Bartiromo pressed.

“Look, the electrical automobile mandate, the EV mandate, is a troublesome factor for him. I’d, you already know, I do not need everyone to need to have an electrical automotive,” Trump defined.

Musk, the previous DOGE head, took to X on his 54th birthday Saturday to bash the now-passed Senate draft of Trump’s invoice, which he mentioned would “destroy hundreds of thousands of jobs” and lift taxes on all wind and photo voltaic initiatives that haven’t but began development.

“The most recent Senate draft invoice will destroy hundreds of thousands of jobs in America and trigger immense strategic hurt to our nation! Completely insane and damaging,” Musk wrote within the put up.

The put up comes after Musk had a public falling out with Trump earlier this month over the administration’s “massive, lovely” spending invoice.

The billionaire criticized the primary model of the invoice in early June, calling it a “huge, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending invoice [that] is a disgusting abomination.”

“Disgrace on those that voted for it: you already know you probably did fallacious,” Musk wrote within the June 3 put up. “You recognize it.”

The brand new model, which Senate Republicans hope to ship to the president by July 4, was debuted Friday evening by Senate Finances Committee Chair Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.
