NEW DELHI: BJP MP Sambit Patra has accused the Congress party of creating a fabricated email from the Epstein files to wrongly link Prime Minister Narendra Modi to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Allegations of Email Manipulation
Patra claimed that Congress altered the email by inserting the phrase ‘his advice,’ suggesting that Modi sought guidance from Epstein. He described the tactic as a deliberate fraud aimed at misleading the public and damaging the prime minister’s reputation.
In a strong statement, Patra warned that such efforts to spread misinformation carry serious repercussions. He urged the public to recognize these attempts to distort facts and hold those responsible accountable.
Broader Criticisms of Congress
Patra further highlighted Congress leaders’ historical interactions with China, particularly during the Doklam border standoff, arguing that these actions undermined India’s national interests. He asserted that the Indian people would decisively reject any ongoing efforts to manipulate information and erode trust.
