Three suspects face charges in a Ganga Barrage robbery, while idols worth Rs 10 lakh stolen from Naubasta were retrieved. A long-time dacoit evading capture for 30 years surrendered to officers. In other incidents, officials dismissed a lekhpal for accumulating assets worth Rs 50 crore and rejected anticipatory bail for eight individuals in a forgery case.

Farmers attended sessions on scientific cultivation techniques. Security ramps up for the Ganga Mela with enhanced measures at key sites. Efforts continue to assist locals stranded in conflict zones abroad.

Authorities reclaimed illegally sold Nazul land and addressed outbreaks like raids on a sweet shop after children fell ill from consumption.
