Sisters Launch Joint Beauty Product with Vintage Hollywood Twist
Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian have teamed up for a new beauty collaboration, recreating the famous 1957 photo of Sophia Loren and Jayne Mansfield to promote their limited-edition Skin Glaze Gummies. The sisters shared the black-and-white images on social media, posing in elegant, low-cut gowns with retro hairstyles that echo the original stars’ glamour.
In the first image, Kourtney mirrors Loren’s signature side-eyed glance toward Kylie’s decolletage, while Kylie channels Mansfield’s confident pose. A key difference: a bottle of their new Skin Glaze Gummies sits prominently on a plate between them, stealing the spotlight in the campaign.
Product Innovation and Benefits
The Skin Glaze Gummies feature a clinically studied longevity molecule called spermidine, combined with a pro-retinol vitamin complex to support skin health, barrier integrity, and natural immune defenses. Spermidine, a natural compound, aids cell growth, repair, and longevity by enhancing autophagy—the process of cellular cleanup—and protecting DNA. Research from the National Library of Medicine also suggests it may promote hair growth and nail health.
Kourtney Kardashian explained the product’s appeal: “Our Skin Glaze Gummies are uniquely formulated with spermidine and a pro-retinol complex shown to promote skin health. We’re obsessed with this next-level innovation and can’t wait for our community to try it.”
Kylie Jenner added in her statement: “This is the collab my skin has been waiting for. Kourtney and I wanted to create something that makes your daily beauty routine feel like a treat. The Skin Glaze Gummies give you that lit-from-within radiance, and paired with my new juicy Pomegranate Lip Butter, it’s the perfect duo for a hydrated look.”
Availability and Collaboration History
The gummies launch exclusively at Ulta Beauty stores and online starting Sunday, priced at $30. They pair with Kylie’s new Pomegranate Lip Butter, available for $21. This marks the first collaboration between the sisters in over a decade.
Kourtney reflected on the partnership: “This collaboration has been a long time coming. Working with Kylie felt like the perfect way to blend beauty and wellness in a way that feels authentic to both of our brands.”
Kourtney launched her Lemme supplement line in 2022 and her Poosh wellness brand in 2019, while Kylie has built her cosmetics empire since 2014, starting at age 17.
Recent Hollywood Connections
The launch follows a lighthearted exchange involving Jennifer Lawrence. On a recent episode of Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast, Lawrence addressed a past comment from a Vanity Fair lie detector test where she called Kourtney “annoying” for her frequent announcements about lifestyle choices. Lawrence expressed surprise at her own words, saying, “I see my quotes, and they’re insane. Like, ‘Jennifer Lawrence calls Kourtney Kardashian annoying.'”
Despite this, Lawrence bonded with Kylie at the Golden Globes on January 11, where they chatted during the event. Lawrence co-starred with Kylie’s boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, in the 2021 film Don’t Look Up and shares a friendship with family matriarch Kris Jenner.
