Manchester United defender Luke Shaw and his long-term partner Anouska Santos celebrate the arrival of their fourth child, a baby girl named Paisley, born on February 20, 2026.
Instagram Reveal
Santos shared the joyful news with her followers through an Instagram post featuring several touching photos. One image captures her mirror selfie holding the newborn Paisley. Another shows the infant nestled in a cot alongside her siblings. Santos also displayed a fresh tattoo on her left hand bearing Paisley’s name. The caption simply read: “Paisley [heart with arrow] 20.02.26.”
Supportive Messages Pour In
The post drew warm responses from fellow footballers’ partners. Kennedy Alexa, partner of James Maddison, commented: “You’re incredible Her name is gorgeous!!! Congratulations.” Estelle Bergkamp, fiancée of former United player Donny van de Beek, added: “Ahhhhh congrats beauty.” Kaylee Ake, wife of Manchester City defender Nathan Ake, wrote: “Ahhh congratulations hun [red love heart emoji].” Shaw responded with a red love heart emoji, while teammate Harry Maguire liked the post.
Growing Family
Paisley joins siblings Reign London, aged six, Storie, four, and Lumie, two, making her the third daughter for the couple.
Shaw’s Strong Season and Recent Scare
The 30-year-old England international has delivered standout performances for United this season, rebounding from an injury-plagued 2024/25 campaign. Concern arose during Sunday’s victory over Crystal Palace when Shaw exited in the 24th minute after a heavy challenge from Daniel Munoz. Despite on-pitch treatment, he could not continue.
United head coach Michael Carrick clarified post-match that illness affected both Shaw and Harry Maguire, not injuries. Ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Newcastle United, Carrick provided an update: “Still got a bit of time to the game, and we’ll just have to see how they feel. So we’ll give them every chance. We’re working towards it. They weren’t feeling too good, we’ve still got a bit of time to the game so we’ll see how they feel. It wasn’t injury, both weren’t feeling too good, so it’s one of those things really. We’ll see how they are.”
