Two Primanti Bros. places in south-central Pennsylvania closed this week, in response to the corporate.
Hanover’s location, at 100 Eisenhower Drive, and Chambersburg’s location, at 983 Norland Avenue, are each listed as “completely closed” on-line.
“After cautious consideration, Primanti Bros made the choice to shut our Chambersburg and Hanover eating places,” a spokesperson for Primanti Bros. instructed the Night Solar on Thursday afternoon.

The closure got here with little warning, with an indication, studying “Thanks Hanover,” sharing the closure showing on the door of the Hanover location at 100 Eisenhower Drive on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025.
By Thursday afternoon, Sept. 11, 2025, the signage for the enterprise had already come off of the constructing in Hanover.
Hanover’s location of the Pittsburgh-founded restaurant first opened simply three years in the past, in September of 2022, whereas the Chambersburg location opened in 2023.

An obvious letter to workers advising them of the closure, addressed from Paul Salupo, chief restaurant officer of Primanti Bros., circulated on Hanover social media postings within the wake of the closure.
The letter suggested workers of severance choices, and wrote that the closure was made as a enterprise resolution for the model. The date supplied on the letter was given as Sept. 11, 2025, although it circulated the day prior.
A number of Primanti Bros. eating places stay within the central Pennsylvania space, together with places in York, Lancaster, and Camp Hill.
