ATHENS, Ga. — Rashaun Agee delivered 18 points and 15 rebounds to lead Texas A&M to a decisive 92-77 victory over Georgia on Saturday, keeping the Aggies at the top of the SEC standings.
Aggies Seize Early Control
The Aggies, now 17-4 overall and 7-1 in Southeastern Conference play, dominated from the start with a commanding 22-0 run. They limited Georgia to just two points over nearly five minutes, building a 51-41 halftime advantage. Texas A&M shot an efficient 45% from the field and converted 19 of 20 free throws to secure the win.
Key Moments in the Second Half
Georgia narrowed the gap to 56-47 early in the second half, but Agee responded with two 3-pointers—despite entering the game at 18.6% from beyond the arc—to restore the Aggies’ lead. The Bulldogs rallied to within 69-66 with over nine minutes left, only for Texas A&M to counter with consecutive 3-pointers from Ali Dibba and Jacari Lane.
The Aggies then sealed the game from the free-throw line, extending their winning streak against Georgia to seven consecutive meetings.
Standout Performances
Marcus Hill contributed 15 points for Texas A&M, while Rubén Domínguez added 13. Dibba tallied 15 points off the bench. Agee notched his 10th double-double of the season.
For Georgia (16-6, 4-5 SEC), Jeremiah Wilkinson paced the team with 17 points, five assists, and a career-high two blocks. Kanon Catchings and Blue Cain each scored 14 points. Dylan James achieved his first career double-double with 13 points and a personal-best 13 rebounds from the bench.
Texas A&M remains undefeated at 10-0 this season when reaching 90 points. The Aggies next face No. 23 Alabama on Wednesday, while Georgia heads to LSU on Saturday.
