Family Moments Captured
Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing recently posted endearing photos of their newborn son, Ziggy, on Instagram, offering a preview of their forthcoming Disney+ documentary on parenthood.
The couple, known from Made in Chelsea, welcomed Ziggy last month. Jamie, 37, and Sophie, who married in 2023, documented their path to parenthood in the series, covering her pregnancy and the challenges of juggling careers.
In the ‘Ziggy files’ collection shared on Saturday, the parents appear joyful in a black-and-white image, holding their son. Another shot shows Sophie gazing affectionately at Ziggy while cradling him on the sofa. Jamie is also pictured preparing a meal with Ziggy secured in a carrier against his chest.
Upcoming Disney+ Series
The docuseries highlights their transition into family life. Jamie and Sophie stated: ‘For nearly a decade, we’ve brought audiences along the highs and lows of our personal and professional lives through TV, radio, social media, and our podcasts. It’s such an honor to now partner with the incredible teams at Disney+ and Dorothy St Pictures to bring our next chapter to viewers across the globe. Navigating our lives with a baby on the way has opened up a whole new stage of our relationship – we can’t wait to give you a front row seat!’
The project was commissioned by Executive Director Sean Doyle and produced by Dorothy St Pictures in collaboration with Jampot Productions. These images suggest Ziggy will feature prominently in the series.
Recent Parenting Highlights
Earlier this month, Jamie humorously addressed his ‘dad bod’ in an Instagram video with Ziggy. He captioned a clip holding his son: ‘I missed how my body looked before you.’ The scene then shifted to Sophie, who responded: ‘What you talking about, you’re his Dad, get your a*s to the gym.’ Jamie added: ‘Dad bod era incoming.’
This followed backlash to a post praising Sophie as a ‘superwoman’ for hosting a magical Christmas three weeks postpartum. Some viewers criticized it for creating unrealistic expectations for new mothers, with comments noting: ‘This is an insensitive post and sets an unrealistic expectation/pressure on other new mothers. Not everyone has the money, resources and support to be able to do this.’ Others remarked: ‘In my opinion this is not normal and a typical IG moment. To me, this is sadly only about people pleasing and not prioritising healing and true connections.’ Questions arose about potential hired help like caterers.
In response, Jamie shared a video of himself doing squats while holding Ziggy in the kitchen, writing: ‘First rule since becoming a dad: Accepting that no matter how tired you are, you’re definitely never as tired as your wife.’ Mothers in the comments agreed, with one stating: ‘100% not as tired. Not taking away from your own sleep deprivation but it’s still not as much as her keep doing amazing work.’ Another added: ‘It’s true though! She’s the one healing from pregnancy + birth at the same time as looking after a baby.’
Baby Ziggy’s Arrival
Sophie and Jamie announced Ziggy’s birth on December 4, 2025, with tender hospital photos. One captures Jamie’s arm around Sophie as she holds their newborn, while another focuses on Sophie alone with the baby.
