PlayStation Plus members on Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers have about 72 hours to download three PS5 games valued at $170 for free. These titles revert to full price after February 3, making way for new monthly offerings.
From now until Tuesday, subscribers can add Need for Speed Unbound, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, and Core Keeper to their libraries at no extra cost. All three support PS5, with the last two also compatible with PS4.
Need for Speed Unbound ($70)
The 2022 release marks the 25th entry in the Need for Speed series and serves as the franchise’s most recent installment. Criterion Games developed this racing title, while EA handled publishing. It earned a Metacritic score of 77 upon launch.
Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed ($60)
This 2024 remake revives the 2010 original, a platform adventure exclusive to Nintendo Wii. Junction Point Studios created the first version, published by Disney, which scored 73 on Metacritic. Purple Lamp Studios leads the remake efforts.
Core Keeper ($20)
A 2024 sandbox survival game, Core Keeper emerged from two years of early access. Pugstorm developed it, with Fireshine Games as publisher. It stands out with the highest Metacritic rating among these titles at 86.
Games claimed through PlayStation Plus remain in users’ collections indefinitely, provided the subscription stays active. Lapsing a membership revokes access to these downloads until renewal. Note that none appear in the Extra or Premium catalogs, so post-deadline access requires a direct purchase for PS5 and PS4 players.
