Fatal Collision in Southwest Valley
A tragic collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck occurred in the southwest Las Vegas Valley on Saturday, resulting in one fatality, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The incident took place around 3:30 p.m. on southbound State Route 160 at mile marker 15, close to Blue Diamond. Authorities report that the motorcycle carried two occupants, while the pickup truck had two people inside.

The motorcycle’s rider was declared dead at the scene. The passenger sustained injuries and was airlifted by Mercy Air to a nearby hospital for treatment. The two individuals in the pickup truck escaped serious harm and did not require medical transport.
Investigators closed southbound lanes on SR 160 to conduct a thorough examination of the crash site. The Nevada Highway Patrol continues to probe the circumstances leading to the accident.
