New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to present the Union Budget 2026 in the Lok Sabha on Sunday, February 1, 2026. Continuing the post-COVID practice, she will deliver the budget speech using a digital tablet rather than the traditional ledger book.
FM Sitharaman’s Presentation Schedule
The minister will depart from her residence between 8:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. She is scheduled to take part in the customary budget photo session at Kartavya Path from 8:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m., before heading to Rashtrapati Bhavan. Arrival at Parliament is anticipated around 10 a.m., followed by a Cabinet meeting at 10:15 a.m. The budget presentation will commence shortly after.
