Jo Ellen A. League, a 92-year-old resident of Lakeland, Florida, passed away on December 22, 2025. Born on July 28, 1933, in Martinsville, Indiana, she relocated to Orlando with her parents in 1949, establishing deep roots in the region over the years.
Family and Legacy
League leaves behind a large and loving family, including her six children: Deborah Fuddy and her husband Richard, Mark Jarman and his wife Peggy, Bert Kenneth Jarman Jr., Teresa Robbins, Tamara Puckett and her partner Paul Jackson, and Dawn Jarman. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her memory.
Memorial Services
A memorial service to celebrate her life is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at The Estates at Carpenters, located at 1001 Carpenters Way, Lakeland, FL 33809. Following the service, burial will take place at 3:00 p.m. at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill, 2420 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL 32817.
In lieu of traditional flowers, family and friends may honor her legacy by planting a living memorial in her name.
