Historic Live Event Marks Group’s Full-Album Return

Global superstars BTS will launch their musical comeback with an exclusive live concert streaming worldwide on Netflix this March. The event coincides with the release of their first full-group album in six years, scheduled for March 20.

Concert and Documentary Details

The live performance, titled ‘BTS: Yet to Come,’ will broadcast directly from Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Plaza on March 21 at 7 a.m. Eastern Time. Industry sources confirm this marks the first globally streamed live entertainment event originating from South Korea. Acclaimed director Hamish Hamilton will helm the production, with executive oversight from HYBE, Big Hit Music, and several veteran producers.

A companion documentary titled ‘BTS: The Return’ will premiere on Netflix six days later on March 27. Directed by Bao Nguyen, the film chronicles the group’s journey reuniting after their 2021 hiatus when members temporarily paused group activities to fulfill mandatory military service requirements.

New Album and Tour Plans

The forthcoming album represents BTS’s fifth studio release and their first full-group project since 2020’s ‘BE.’ Following the album’s release, the seven-member act will launch an extensive stadium tour spanning 79 dates across five continents. The tour begins in April in Goyang, South Korea, with scheduled performances continuing through 2027.

During their group hiatus, members pursued solo endeavors including J-Hope’s 2022 album ‘Jack in the Box,’ RM’s ‘Indigo’ released the same year, and Jimin’s 2023 project ‘Face.’ The group previously released anthology album ‘Proof’ in June 2022 while maintaining individual creative pursuits.
