A 42-year-old woman from Dieppe, New Brunswick, has died following a fall from the passenger side of a moving truck.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police responded to the scene around 3 a.m. Atlantic Time on Sunday along a trail near Richard Road in Bas-Caraquet, New Brunswick. First responders discovered the woman unresponsive and declared her dead on site.
Driver’s Condition and Next Steps
The truck driver, a 33-year-old man from Bas-Caraquet, displayed signs of impairment. Officers took him to an RCMP detachment for breath tests. He received release conditions and faces a future court appearance. Authorities have not specified the charges.
