Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny has arrived in Sydney, instantly charming Australians with his relaxed style. The 31-year-old rapper and singer, real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, strolled through Sydney Airport on Tuesday sporting a black hoodie paired with crisp grey tracksuit pants. His choice of thongs—flip-flops in American terms—perfectly matched Australia’s casual fashion ethos, winning over fans immediately.

Effortless Style and Fan Interactions

Bad Bunny completed the look with a chequered carry-on bag over one shoulder and oversized headphones. He smiled and waved to excited fans in the arrivals area, exuding genuine happiness and ease as he absorbed the Sydney vibe. This laid-back energy heightens anticipation for his upcoming performances.

Chartered Qantas A380 for Tour Debut

Flight enthusiasts spotted a Qantas Airbus A380 flying non-stop from São Paulo, Brazil, to Sydney, sparking rumors of a test flight. Confirmation reveals the superjumbo, registered VH-OQA and named after pioneering aviator Nancy Bird-Walton, was chartered by Bad Bunny for his 2026 world tour, Débi Tirar Más Fotos (I Should Have Taken More Photos). Qantas’ oldest A380, which returned to service in April 2024 after pandemic storage, marked the airline’s first Brazil trip in a decade since 2016 Rio Olympics charters.

The aircraft departed Sydney just after 10 p.m. Monday, landed in São Paulo nearly 15 hours later, then refueled in Auckland before arriving in Sydney around 12:50 p.m. Tuesday. Designed for passengers, it transported Bad Bunny’s entourage and equipment, with additional gear shipped via cargo to clear customs efficiently.

Bad Bunny’s Travel Preferences

Despite the A380 charter, Bad Bunny favors luxury private jets like the Bombardier Global 7500 for personal travel. He has collaborated with VistaJet and previously toured in a customized Airbus A320 featuring his branding and baby blue Adidas Forum colors.

Historic Australian Concerts Ahead

Bad Bunny makes his Australian debut with sold-out shows at Sydney Showgrounds on Saturday, February 28, and Sunday, March 1. Fans eagerly await hits from the I Like It artist in a packed stadium setting.
