The incident occurred in the early hours of August 15 last year. The producer, known as PD A, and a junior colleague, identified as B, collaborated on a special variety program. B filed a complaint claiming PD A made unwanted physical contact during production.
Prosecution’s Investigation and Decision
Investigators classified the actions as sexual harassment under standard guidelines. However, they considered the full context of the complaint and PD A’s reported outrage before deciding against detention.
Key evidence included CCTV footage showing B encouraging PD A to consume alcohol. This footage, along with other materials, substantiated the circumstances surrounding the event.
