Engagements During Mumbai Leg

This first official trip kicked off in Mumbai, where he held business meetings with Indian and Canadian CEOs, financial leaders, innovators, educators, and representatives from Canadian pension funds operating in India. These interactions aim to strengthen cooperation across multiple sectors.
High-Level Agenda in Delhi
Delegation-level talks scheduled for March 2 at Hyderabad House will review progress in the India-Canada Strategic Partnership. The leaders will evaluate advancements in trade and investment, energy, critical minerals, agriculture, education, research, innovation, and people-to-people connections, building on their prior summits in Kananaskis in June 2025 and Johannesburg in November 2025.
Prime Ministers Modi and Carney will also share perspectives on regional and global issues before joining the India-Canada CEOs Forum. The visit supports ongoing efforts to advance bilateral ties amid a focus on shared strategic and economic goals.
