Pentagon Names Four Soldiers Killed in Operation Epic Fury

The Pentagon identified four U.S. Army servicemembers killed during Operation Epic Fury against Iran. The casualties occurred over the weekend in an Iranian attack on an operations center.1822

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the initial casualties on Sunday. Officials reported Monday that a fourth soldier succumbed to wounds sustained in the incident. Two additional fatalities were confirmed shortly after, bringing the total to six.2728

Identified Servicemembers

The fallen soldiers include:

  • Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35, of Winter Haven, Florida
  • Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42, of Bellevue, Nebraska
  • Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39, of White Bear Lake, Minnesota
  • Sgt. Declan J. Coady, 20, of West Des Moines, Iowa

These Army Reserve personnel died on March 1 from injuries in a drone strike at a command center in Kuwait.20
