A 54-year-old man sustained injuries to his right leg after an A train struck him at the Rockaway Boulevard station in Ozone Park, Queens. The incident unfolded on Friday shortly after 4 p.m., when the man stood too close to the platform edge and got caught by the Lefferts Boulevard-bound train, dragging him along the platform.
Emergency Response
MTA teams immediately cut power to the third rail to secure the area. Paramedics transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
