Trump Rejects Nuclear Escalation Fears

President Donald Trump asserts that Israel would never deploy a nuclear weapon against Iran, addressing recent concerns from White House AI and crypto czar David Sacks. Trump highlights robust military coordination between the US and Israel, even as their objectives in the conflict diverge slightly.

Responding to Escalation Warnings

Sacks recently expressed worry in an interview, stating, “You have to worry about Israel escalating the war by contemplating using a nuclear weapon.”

Trump’s remarks follow his comments aboard Air Force One, where he told reporters, “The relationship has been very good. The militaries are very well coordinated,” while acknowledging that the two nations’ goals may not align perfectly.

Unnamed Former President Expresses Regret

Trump revealed that a former US president confided regret over not acting against Iran during their tenure. Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said, “I’ve spoken to a certain president, who I like, actually, a past president, former president. He said, ‘I wish I did it. I wish I did.’ But they didn’t do it. I’m doing it.”

Trump withheld the identity to spare embarrassment, adding, “I don’t want to embarrass him. Would be very bad for his career, even though he’s got no career.” Living former presidents include Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden.

Administration Bolsters Iran Stance

Trump defends recent military actions against Iran, citing decades of disruptions to US interests. These moves have sparked debate among some Republicans focused on America First priorities and contributed to higher gas prices, yet Trump maintains they are essential.

Vice President JD Vance supports the position, declaring, “I agree with the President that Iran should not have a nuclear weapon. We took this military action under the President’s leadership. All of us—whether a Democrat or Republican—should pray for the success and safety of our troops.”
