Tom Brady made a surprise onstage appearance at Kevin Hart’s Netflix roast, delivering playful jabs at the comedian’s wife and past infidelity. The NFL legend turned the tables after enduring brutal jokes about his family during his own roast two years earlier.
Brady’s Surprise Revenge
During the live event, Brady addressed Hart directly, noting the shots taken at his family previously. ‘You took a lot of shots at my family during my roast,’ Brady said. ‘But I’m too classy to go after your beautiful wife. Or am I?’
The camera then panned to Eniko Hart, who laughed as Brady quipped, ‘What’s up, girl?’ He further teased Hart’s 2017 infidelity while Eniko was pregnant, adding, ‘I’m a busy man, but I do have a few words for you before I return to my affairs in Las Vegas.’
Brady, now a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, continued, ‘Oh, wait, I’m talking about affairs in Las Vegas. Was that off? Not supposed to talk about affairs in Vegas? I think I broke another rule.’
Hart had earlier vowed not to act like a ‘f***ing b****’ as Brady did during his roast, setting the stage for Brady’s unexpected entrance.
Recalling Brady’s 2024 Roast
Two years ago, in May 2024, Brady sat through harsh jokes targeting his divorce from Gisele Bündchen, who has since begun a relationship with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. The couple shares two children, and Bündchen has welcomed a baby with Valente.
Comedian Nikki Glaser delivered pointed lines, including, ‘How much would it suck for Tom… just knowing your ex-wife’s new boyfriend could beat your a** while eating hers.’ She added, ‘Tom, the only thing dumber than you saying “yes” to this roast was when you said, “Hey babe, you should try jiu-jitsu.”‘
Reports indicated Bündchen disapproved of the personal attacks, particularly their effect on the children. Brady later reflected on the ‘Impaulsive’ podcast, saying, ‘I love laughing at myself… And the harder people go at me, I’ll actually love it.’
However, he acknowledged the impact on his kids: ‘I don’t take myself too serious but I do understand that for my kids, that was really hard… there are some things as a parent you f*** up and you don’t realize until after.’
Brady shared a poignant moment: ‘I’ll never forget when I talked to my kids the next day, and I felt like a stake through the heart – and understandably. They’re protective of their mom, of their dad, of everybody. “What was the point of that? Why did you do that?” You live and you learn.’
