Users of popular mobile accessories like OnePlus, OPPO, and Realme earbuds should verify their authenticity following a major police crackdown. Delhi Police’s Crime Branch AGS Unit raided locations in Karol Bagh and Moti Nagar, dismantling an organized network producing and distributing counterfeit products. Authorities arrested two individuals during the operation.
Raid Targets Manufacturing and Storage Sites
Teams sealed two godowns in Karol Bagh’s Ragerpura area and a factory in Moti Nagar dedicated to printing fake packaging. The setup featured machines illegally replicating brand logos from OnePlus, OPPO, and Realme. Officers confiscated eight machines used for creating deceptive packaging materials. In total, three premises—including a printing press and storage facilities—fell under police control.
The operation packaged fake items to mimic genuine products, marketing them cheaply on social media as originals. This illicit scheme operated in Delhi for over a year.
Massive Haul of Counterfeit Goods
Raids yielded more than 15,000 fake accessories, including 10,750 OnePlus Bullet wireless earphones, 8,000 OnePlus SuperVOOC 100W power adapter boxes, 105 boxes of OnePlus earphones and chargers, and 100 boxes of OnePlus earbuds. Seizures also included 100 boxes each of Realme earbuds and wireless buds, plus OPPO items, alongside vast amounts of packaging materials, dye sheets, and assembled counterfeit earphones ready for sale.
Ongoing Probe into Supply Chain
Investigators continue to trace the broader network, targeting suppliers believed to operate from China and scrutinizing social media channels used for promotion. Further arrests are anticipated as the case unfolds.
