Jayden Spears Steps Out at Dior Cruise 2027 Show
Britney Spears’ 19-year-old son Jayden made a rare red carpet appearance at the Dior Cruise 2027 runway show in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The event at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) marked his first such outing in over a decade, since posing with his mother at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards.
Jayden opted for a stylish casual look, featuring a plaid green shirt under a dark green jacket, loose-fitting denim jeans, and black shoes. He held fashionable shades and flashed a small smile for photographers.
The fashion event drew an A-list crowd, including Miley Cyrus and Sabrina Carpenter. Jayden’s siblings and father, Kevin Federline, relocated to Hawaii in 2023. However, Federline revealed in his memoir You Thought You Knew that Jayden has returned to Los Angeles to pursue music. “Jayden has already returned to L.A., chasing his music dreams,” Federline wrote, adding that the teen is “brimming with creative energy.” He also expressed pride in both sons: “Watching both of them grow into themselves has filled me with pride. We’ve done everything we could to prepare them for life, and I know they’re ready.”
Britney Spears’ Tense Night at Sherman Oaks Restaurant
On the same day, Britney Spears created a stir at the Blue Dog Tavern in Sherman Oaks. Witnesses described her as agitated, raising her voice, yelling, and making barking sounds, which contributed to a tense atmosphere.
Diners reported seeing Spears walk past a table holding a knife, raising concerns. She shared food with an unidentified man, appeared affectionate, and told him “I love you,” though the tone remained unclear. Staff intervened when she lit a cigarette near the entrance.
Spears ordered a burger and fries but ate mostly fries, leaving much of her meal—including what looked like orange juice—untouched. A crumpled menu on her table revealed a messy scene underneath, with one witness noting it resembled a toddler’s handiwork. Diners only realized it was Spears after she left, escorted home by security. The incident quickly became the restaurant’s main topic, with a patron remarking it could “only happen in LA.”
Her representative provided a statement: “This is completely blown out of proportion. Britney was enjoying a quiet dinner with her assistant and bodyguard. She was simply telling the story about how her dog was barking at the neighbors. At no point did she put anyone in danger with a knife. She was cutting her hamburger in half. This constant attack on everything that she does and this is exactly what happened 20 years ago when the media tried to depict Britney as a bad person. This is ridiculous and it needs to stop now.”
Recent DUI Plea and Rehabilitation
The outing followed Spears’ guilty plea to a misdemeanor DUI charge last week at Ventura County Superior Court, entered via her lawyer Michael Goldstein. She received 12 months probation, one day in jail (already served), a $721 fine, and orders for a three-month alcohol and drug program, weekly psychologist visits, and twice-monthly psychiatrist appointments. She must avoid alcohol and drugs except prescriptions, and police can search her vehicle without a warrant if stopped again.
Arrested on March 4, Spears accepted a “wet reckless” plea deal suitable for first-time offenders with low blood alcohol levels, no crash or injury, and rehab commitment. She voluntarily entered Borden Cottage rehab in Maine, staying less than three weeks despite a 45-day minimum and high costs.
Over the weekend, Spears posted on Instagram about her experience, sharing a photo of a snake: “Went to the pet store with my kids and look at what what a beautiful baby snake this is… Snakes are symbolic of good health, higher consciousness, and pure luck… I’m so d**n thankful to my friends and so many new beautiful people I have met through my spiritual journey… all a blessing in disguise…” She added reflection on self-kindness: “It’s a never ending journey and sometimes I just stop, look up and say wow God I think that was you and smile on!!!!”
Spears skipped her niece Maddie’s high school graduation over the weekend. The 17-year-old, daughter of Jamie Lynn Spears, celebrated with family including grandmother Lynn, grandfather Jamie, brother Sean Preston, and sister Ivey.
