A Huge Bear man was arrested final week for allegedly working an unlawful psychedelic mushroom enterprise out of a church in Huge Bear Lake, in response to authorities.
On Saturday, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Division in Huge Bear executed a search warrant at Jah Therapeutic Hashish Church, positioned within the 40700 block of Village Drive, in response to complaints from residents, in response to a sheriff’s division information launch.
As deputies executed the warrant, they discovered about three ounces of psychedelic mushrooms on 48-year-old Christopher Tindall, who was described within the launch because the proprietor of the “mushroom gross sales store,” in response to the discharge. They arrested Tindall on suspicion of unlawful gross sales of psilocybin mushrooms, which is a felony.
Tindall was booked into Huge Bear jail and launched on bond, in response to authorities. He was scheduled to be arraigned on the San Bernardino County Superior Courtroom yesterday at 8 a.m.
In 2022, the church, which considers hashish its sacrament, was completely shut down by San Bernardino County authorities on account of claims that the church features as an unlawful dispensary. The church has vowed to proceed the authorized struggle in state Supreme Courtroom.
