Blue Jays superstar slugger Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. is carrying on a legacy. And he knows what it would mean for his family if he becomes a World Series champion.
The son of Hall of a Famer, the younger Vladdy wants to uphold his family name while carving out his own path to greatness. And it isn’t surprising to hear that it was his father – along with his uncle and former MLB player Wilton Guerrero – were instrumental in helping him hone his baseball skills as a kid.
“[My uncle] all the time put in my thoughts that I could be higher than my dad,” Vladdy Jr. instructed MLB on FOX analyst David “Huge Papi” Ortiz. “However to me, to be higher than my dad is not straightforward. He is within the Corridor of Fame.”

Vladdy has been round baseball royalty since he was a child. You’ve got seen the picture of him as a little bit boy dressed up in an Expos uniform and enjoying catch along with his dad. You’ve got seen the phots of him as a child hanging out with legends similar to Ortiz and Pedro Martinez.
But when there’s one factor that’s actually motivating him, it is to win the World Sequence ring that eluded his father.

I simply play my sport and attempt to give every little thing that I’ve to the crew,” Vladdy Jr. stated. “He performed 16 years within the huge leagues, he by no means gained one.
