(Reuters) -Warren Buffett donated on Friday one other $6 billion of Berkshire Hathaway inventory to the Gates Basis and 4 household charities, his largest annual donation since he started freely giving his fortune almost 20 years in the past.
The donation of about 12.36 million Berkshire Class B shares boosted Buffett’s total giving to the charities to effectively over $60 billion.
He donated 9.43 million shares to the Gates Basis; 943,384 shares to the Susan Thompson Buffett Basis; and 660,366 shares to every of three charities led respectively by his kids Howard, Susie, and Peter: the Howard G. Buffett Basis, Sherwood Basis and NoVo Basis.
