US President Donald Trump labelled New York mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani ‘a communist’ and claimed New Yorkers would flee the town when he turns into mayor. In his election victory speech, Mamdani referred to as Trump ‘a despot’ and mentioned he had ‘betrayed the nation’.
